Freya the walrus will get her personal sculpture in Oslo

Freya the walrus has had her personal sculpture constructed alongside the coast of Oslo, in commemoration of her life.
The sculpture is a lifesize artwork piece of Freya lying on her aspect on the Kongen marina shores.
A web-based marketing campaign rose $25 000 to fund the constructing of the sculpture.
The walrus frequented the Oslo coast, attracting wildlife fanatics, locals, and vacationers till authorities determined to euthanise her in 2022 because of public security issues. Her loss of life brought about widespread criticism.
Sculptor Astri Tonoian advised the BBC, ‘That is how people deal with wild nature, however it is usually how people deal with people. That is how we handled Freya. And so, I’ll name the statue For Our Sins.’
