Province signal new playmaker
The promising Jurie Matthee has reportedly put pen to paper on a contract with Western Province Rugby, and bolster the union’s flyhalf ranks from subsequent season.
In response to a report on Netwerk24, the 22-year-old Matthee has signed a one-year take care of WP Rugby.
A star performer for Maties on this yr’s Varsity Cup, he featured for WP within the Currie Cup and ended the competitors with a powerful outing in a 44-5 win towards the Sharks.
“I believe that final sport towards the Sharks, the place he was the Participant of the Match, made them realise he is an effective participant,” Matthee’s agent, Michael Thomas, was quoted by Netwerk24.

With Springboks Manie Libbok and Damian Willemse the DHL Stormers’ go-to choices at No 10, and Kade Wolhuter’s severe knee harm, Matthee will present choices for WP alongside Jean-Luc du Plessis and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu subsequent season.
